Founder & Lead Coach




Allan Mackintosh has been in business since 1982 and has been actively involved in team leadership since he was Captain of Rugby at The University of Glasgow in 1980.  A passionate advocate of team work and team development he is a skilled and highly valued team facilitator and coach whose aim is simply to assist and support teams to attain high performance and superb results.


A highly acclaimed conference speaker having performed at conferences across the UK, Europe and India, Allan is available to speak to your teams direct or at your company conference or event.


A prolific writer of articles,  Allan published his first book, 'The Successful Coaching Manager' in 2003 (Troubador Press) and can be bought through Amazon  but also direct from the publisher Troubador here

Allan's second book, 'Team Champion - Taking Teamwork Seriously (Troubador 2021) is also available through both Amazon and Troubador.

Emma Hossack

Emma is the founder of Transforming Minds for Business and is our 'go-to' person for Resilience.  She is an ICF accredited Personal and Business Coach, NLP and Resilience Practitioner with a passion for helping clients and organisations flourish. Emma is passionate about data and her Transforming Minds for Business  organisation was founded to ensure that coaching is bespoke and meaningful to all of her clients. Combining mind and body coaching, she hold a safe container for her clients, empowering them to find their own answers and achieve their goals. Emma absolutely loves working with organisations and individuals to help them understand themselves and their businesses better, and empowering them to achieve their goals. 



Mark is an experienced learning and development professional and a qualified coach, trainer, NLP and MBTI practitioner with over 15 years’ experience in the Life Sciences industries.


He has worked in a variety of roles in sales and learning and development, ranging including carrying the bag as a pharmaceutical sales representative to senior management roles. He is passionate about helping individuals and organisations be the best they can be and developing behaviours that enables productive interactions with health care professionals.


In 2017 Mark became the founding Director of Chrysalis Capability and Training, and loves to create impactful blended learning solutions making the best use of eLearning, classroom and on the job training. To relax, Mark likes to Morris dance!

Alan is an Executive Director and experienced Trainer/Facilitator. He has travelled all over the world sharing his expertise in a variety of sectors and markets. He has worked with clients across Asia, Europe and North America and continues to have incredibly positive relationships with those he has had the pleasure of working with. He offers a highly commercial global mindset with a genuine passion for what he does.


During his career he has designed and delivered multiple classroom and blended learning programmes for clients from a wide array of industries and sectors. 


Alan’s broad commercial background and global experience adds a pragmatic and practical lens to his approach which he utilises to ensure that any training programme or workshop is grounded in action-based deliverables and outcomes that can be applied within the organisations that he works with.
